I have stayed here a couple of different times the rooms are great very cozy very clean bed is comfortable enough. Amy is absolutely fantastic she will definitely make sure all your needs are met. There needs to be more small cozy places like this available across the country. Highly recommend staying here. Who needs an indoor pool when you can sit out front at a campfire, relax and drink a beer.
We had to come to Union City and had no idea where to stay. The Welcome Inn came up as basically the only option. I'm usually not one to stay at little motels because they are often kind of dirty feeling. However, upon reading the reviews on the place, we decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! My first phone call to make a reservation was answered by Amy, the owner, and we had the nicest conversation! I talked to her again the next day for quite a while and I was so excited to meet her because by then it felt like I had known her for years! She was so accommodating and friendly and fun to talk to. The rooms are a little bit outdated, but she told me that up front. But it was actually very charming. It was quiet, clean, safe and absolutely immaculate! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there! What makes this small town vintage motel special is Amy’s friendliness and her extra effort to help guests! We live locally and my senior parents needed a place to stay last minute due to smoke inhalation at their home. She looked out for them and when I called late to see if she could help with the tv she went right down to their room!
